You know when you want to eat healthy but you still want bread? That's when I turn to Mediterranean. Usually, Zankou is the go-to but this place popped up on Uber Eats and they had a great deal on a family meal. Their chicken is really flavorful and juicy, they also give you a little chili oil which is nice! Their garlic sauce is less zingy than Zankou but still delicious! I loved their poppyseed salad, so fresh and tasty. Now the real reason for the season, the pita. Their pita is thick and pillowy, perfect for dunking into hummus. We also added on some crispy potatoes and that was an amazing idea, rounded everything out perfectly. This might make its way into the rotation!

I visited this place a few months ago and immediately returned just a week later. Their food is so fresh, tasty, and satisfying. I recommend the quarter chicken plate with the schmaltzy potatoes (that's not a suggestion, that's mandatory). The wedge salad, garlic sauce, and hummus are my favorite sides and condiments. The fennel tzatziki, cucumbers, and cabbage are all tasty as well but not super necessary if you have the sides with the plate. And don't miss out on the tahini chocolate chip cookie! Obsessed.

A trendy millennial's Zankou Chicken. As an LA Native who grew up near Little Armenia, I also grew up on Zankou Chicken. However, I always wished they had more veg and salad options. This is where Kismet Rotisserie comes in. Ideally located along Hollywood Blvd on the Los Feliz/East Hollywood border, this eatery is close to numerous neighborhood interests, including Barnsdall Art Park, The Goodwill, and The Vista. I ordered the Quarter Dark Rotisserie Chicken Plate. The chicken was beautifully seasoned and cooked. I really enjoyed the portioning of the hummus, which also tasted freshly-made. The wedge salad came with a nice, tangy dressing. The chili oil was a nice addition for some spice. However, the garlic sauce was not garlicky enough for me. (I high recommend buying the garlic sauce from Trader Joe's as a supplement.) 0I would love to try the potatoes and dessert for my next visit! Service and speed was fine. At night, you order from the window. Since there is outdoor seating only and it was a chilly night, I debated sitting in my car until my food was ready. But food was ready in about 15-20 minutes and was still warm when I got home.

Love everything about this place. Every single thing on the menu sparks joy. And their group meals are perfection. Thanks Kismet!

Love this place! My favorite go to lunch. They sell chicken plates, but I usually get a kids plate and it comes with the perfect amount of food for a lunch. The chili oil is perfection along with the hummus, and the workers are incredibly kind.

4+ A small shack/ordering window that serves some of the kismet Mediterranean style rotisserie. This place has a few limited seats outside, but I think the most of the business here is for takeout. I came here the other day because they were part of that Fallout promotional day. The deal was $3.33 for a chicken pita sandwich. You went up to the window and had to use the passphrase and put in an order. The folks there are very friendly and very chill. The chicken pita sandwich itself was good. Definitely great for the deal. I ordered an extra pudding cup as well. Definitely a great option in the area if you just want a quick, casual meal.

I've been to Kismet and I've worked in Burbank, but never had the pleasure of take-out chicken from Kismet Rotisserie until last week, when I bopped in for a quick office lunch. I plan to be in the area often this summer, and I'll be repeating this exact meal whenever I get the chance. I didn't even order my own lunch--it was waiting for me when I arrived, an absolute gift. It was a quarter chicken plate, the chicken accompanied by hummus, wedge salad, pickles, pita, chili oil, and garlic sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, even more so with a dip in the chili oil and garlic sauce, and I loved the tangy pickles. The wedge salad was light and pleasant, with crisp lettuce, radishes, and miso poppy dressing, and I enjoyed the hummus. I also got some of the schmaltzy potatoes, an excellent side, fried beautifully brown and tender in chicken fat. I might visit Kismet Rotisserie in person one day, but I know I'll get it to go again. I have a pretty good sense of the take-out power rankings in Burbank, and this place is right at the top of the list.

This place has such a nice charm to it. It has wonderful outdoor seating. The food is incredibly fresh and the service is really good. I have to say I prefer sitting outdoors, but when it comes to a small business that offers not just one but two locations close by you can't beat this place, didn't even take seven minutes to get here. My friend ordered the veggie plate. I had to have the mini pita. The first thing that I really love is speed of service even if you have to wait 10 minutes you wouldn't even notice it because it's so nice sitting out here. The environment is so pleasant time to seem to sort of coach you like a nice warm breeze and before you know it, your food, staring back in the eyes waiting for you to enjoy. Each point will welcome the next. I have to encourage you to try their specialty drinks.
